The seventh book in author Vicki Delany’s Sherlock Holmes Bookstore Mystery series is another fun novel in the series, this time with a Sherlock Holmes theme, with quirky characters in a small town near Cape Cod. Gemma Doyle is the owner of the Sherlock Holmes Bookstore and Emporium and she’s been hired by a wealthy man who has rented a mansion that is for sale, to have a Sherlock Holmes themed weekend. Along with her is Jayne Wilson, who will be doing the cooking and her boyfriend police detective Ryan Ashburton, who is assisting in the kitchen. As the weekend gets going along, Vicki notices tension and hushed conversations and knows something is off about the guests and this weekend. And then someone is murdered by a poison dart and now Ryan is investigating and tells Vicki to stay out of the investigation, which she won’t. She keeps learning details and things that could help find the killer.

You can pick up A Three Book Problem in stores on Tuesday, January 11th from Crooked Lane.
