There’s a reason Resse Witherspoon picked Lucky as part of her book club, because it’s really good. A well-written story, with a great lead character and twists that keep the story moving forward and someone that you root for. Lucky Armstrong buys a lottery ticket for the hell of it and then discovers it’s the winning ticket of a jackpot of over $300 million dollars. Only problem is she can’t cash it in because she’s wanted by the law. She’s a grifter and she and her boyfriend have taken money from people they had no right to take. And now he has vanished on her with the money and their plans. Lucky must now figure out where she can turn and what she can do to stay above the law and get her lottery winnings. The more she digs into her past and confronts the people from it puts her life in jeopardy until a shocking reveal might just save her and give her a life moving forward.
