48 Hours To Kill is a Great book. It’s all action, short chapters, really well-written characters and a book you don’t want to put down. A real page-turner. Ethan Lockhart is in prison when he learns his sister Abby may be dead. No body has been found but a funeral is being held. He’s released on a 48-hour furlough to attend. He just has a list of things he can’t do and needs to be back to the prison Sunday morning. He loved and tried to look after his sister. Ethan was working for Shark, a powerful owner of a strip club, when an assisgnment went wrong. Shark was looking after Abby, when she started stripping and Ethan thinks Shark had something to do with her going missing. Ethan starts asking questions and investigating and learns Abby was trying to get evidence against Shark in hope of getting Ethan out of prison. The book goes along in real-time as Ethan confronts, fights and figures out the truth about his sister and along the way there will be many bodies left and many questions to be answered. One of the best thrillers of the year.
