Allie Ross is ready for a new start when she moves to the suburbs in Washington, D.C. with her lawyer husband Mark and her young son. At a neighborhood party 40-something Rob Avery is flirting with her and she flirts back a little. Later he tries to get with her in the bathroom and she rebuffs him. He accuses her of being a Tinder flirt and calls her by an old nickname Lexi. She tells her husband about it and goes to sleep. The next day Rob is found dead in his house and all signs point to Allie. She’s being stalked online with fake accounts on Facebook and Tinder and the word is getting around to the neighbors and the police. Mark stands by her at first but things start getting out of control and soon she’s arrested for murder. But she’s not going down without a fight and she soon learns her past can never stay buried.

The debut novel from author Aggie Blum Thompson is a solid thriller with well-written characters and a strong plot. You will want to keep reading until the twisty reveal is revealed.
