Author Alexander Monir is back with the second book in her Final Six series. As the story starts off the six astronauts are in space on their voyage to Europa to try and find new lands to help the human race out. Naomi soon notices that they have lost their communications with earth and the ability to contact their friends and family. She investigates and finds that the antenna has been dismantled and let go in space. She suspects one of the six of having done this.

Meanwhile on earth Leo has been recruited by Greta to launch a ship to meet up with the crew to help them out. This is against the law and they must act fast to get this up in space. Soon the police are on her trail and Leo must take off ASAP, whether he’s ready or not. He’s in space but having some issues.

Soon Naomi figures out what happened to the antenna and they see Leo’s ship approaching and fire on it. Lucky for him he’s able to avoid it and docks with Naomi. They make there way to Europa and soon finds things are not what they seem. Have they been lied to and used? Soon they find their lives in mortal danger and not everyone will survive.

I didn’t read the first book but have a good idea what it was about. This is a good follow-up with the adventures in space and the twists that it brings. A solid story for fans of space adventures and Sci-Fi.

You can pick up The Life Below in stores on Tuesday, February 18th from Harper Collins.
