Author Peter Robinson is back with book number 26 in his DCI Banks series. This time a Syrian immigrant Samir Boulad is found in the trash can of one Edith Grunwell. They discover the body was stabbed somewhere else and then moved here. Other bodies have been found as well and they may all be connected.
Detective Inspector Banks and his team are on the case and know that this could be a tough issue and must tread lightly with it, while trying to solve the cases. He’s working the case as hard and quickly as he can but things arise during the investigation and the breaks on the case are not coming easy. But he finally gets one and it helps with the investigation leading up to a shocking reveal.
If you’ve never read an DCI Banks novel before what are you waiting for? These novels have great characters, are well-written and always keep the readers engaged with the stories. There’s a reason this series has been going on for a long time know and even had some movies made out of it. Anyone can jump into the series as each book is written like a stand-alone with enough backstory to understand everything.
