The legend of Sidney Sheldon continues in the new novel by Tilly Bagshawe titled The Silent Widow (in stores on Tuesday, May 7th from Crooked Lane).
Psychologist Nikki Roberts live has been rough lately. Her husband was killed in a car crash not too long ago. It still affects her today but she is dealing the best she can. Her practice isn’t thriving as much as it use to. She tries to help her clients as best she can. One of her clients wearing Nikki’s raincoat is murdered in the parking lot of her office. Then her assistant is murdered. The police are now looking at Nikki in the cases of these murders. She’s the common thread.
Drug cartels are taking over the city of Los Angeles. And Nikki hires P.I. Derek Williams to investigate what has been going on around her including her husband’s death (there was more to it than a simple car accident). As he investigates he learns more shocking secrets about his death and what is going on around Nikki. It seems everyone has secrets and soon Nikki will find her live in danger and it could be the end of her.
It follows along in the way Sidney would write his books. A story of murder and deception with twists and turns throughout the story. So if you are a fan of Sidney this book will be right up your alley.
