Book Review: ‘Tom Clancy Oath Of Office’ Is The Next Jack Ryan Thriller

Jack Ryan is feeling if from all sides. Iran is acting up again. Russia is up to its old tricks releasing doctored videos of Jack Ryan saying things he never said and threatening Ukraine once again. A deadly flu epidemic is hitting US citizens and a Senator is trying to make Jack’s live miserable.

The Campus lead by Jack Ryan Jr. is busy as well. Russian missiles have gone missing and are for sale. Jack and the crew are hot on the trail throughout Europe. When Jr. goes to help out his old girlfriend in Afghanistan he’s kidnapped and will have to use all his cunning to escape alive. Then there’s the missiles which need to be found and stopped before it’s too late. It will take the help of a young man to help stop certain destruction and a new war from starting.

All the major players are back and author Marc Cameron is back writing the novel in the same vain that Tom Clancy would have written it and approved of it. His second time with the characters is a thrill ride from the very beginning right up until the end.
