Oscilloscope Laboratories is proud to present the brand new trailer and poster for Carla Simón’s SUMMER 1993, Spain’s official submission for Foreign Language Film competition for the 90th Academy Awards®. Based on first-time feature filmmaker Carla Simón’s own childhood experiences, the film was recently named by the National Board of Review as one of the Top Foreign Films of the year and is one of five nominees for the European Film Awards’ European Discovery 2017 FIPRESCI prize. SUMMER 1993 premiered at the 2017 Berlin International Film Festival, where it won Best First Feature and Grand Prix of the Generation Kplus International Jury. Oscilloscope will release the film in early 2018.
