You can’t keep a good reviewer down. Life reviewer Forrest MacNeil is back for more adventures in the second season of “Review,” premiering Thursday, July 30 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central. For fans that want to relive the escapades of the first season, all of the episodes will be available to all users via cc.com and the Comedy Central App beginning July 13 through August 6 (no authentication required).
“Review,” starring Andy Daly, was a cult hit and a critical darling in its first season. According to HitFix, “no pure comedy was better – or more surprising.” The show was named to many year-end best lists, including those in TIME, The Hollywood Reporter, The Atlantic and The A.V. Club. Season two finds Forrest once again eschewing the boring subjects like film, food or art and heading straight for the tough subjects like joining the mile high club, living life according to the Magic 8 Ball, and even leading a cult. As always, he approaches these challenges with unwavering commitment, regardless of the personal consequences.
“William Tell/Grant A Wish/Rowboat” – Forrest wrangles his father into recreating William Tell’s bow-and-arrow feat, reluctantly makes his son’s birthday wish comes true and spends time in a rowboat.
