MTV announced today the pick-up of two unscripted series set to debut in 2015. The greenlights include “Broke A$$ Game Show,” a half-hour comedy that hits the streets of NYC with hosts Derek Gaines and David Magidoff as they lure unsuspecting contestants to push their personal limits for cash, and “Todrick,” starring talented vocalist, actor, director, choreographer and popular You Tube star Todrick Hall who invites viewers into his creative factory to watch his team collaborate on his weekly videos as they all pursue their dreams of performing and entertaining.
“Broke A$$ Game Show” and “Todrick” have only one thing in common – they each have incredibly fresh and fun creative forces behind them,” said Susanne Daniels, MTV President of Programming. “We love the hilariously imaginative, unusual games in “Broke A$$” and we’re excited to bring Todrick’s tenacious energy and multi-dimensional talent to MTV for his first-ever series.”
