‘Lone Star Lady’ Premieres On A&E Sunday, July 13

A&E Network goes down to Texas, where everything is bigger, especially the life of Rochelle Carnes. Her family struck oil a few years back, but queen bee Rochelle is determined to keep everyone true to her humble roots. She and her husband are trying to raise her four sons right— no matter what it takes. “Lone Star Lady” premieres with back-to-back episodes on Sunday, July 13 at 10 and 10:30PM ET/PT.

Rochelle is a full-time mom in Johnson City, Texas trying to keep her house full of boys under control with her unapologetic, outspoken and hilarious voice of reason. They enjoy life’s little luxuries like new cars and family trips but still live in a simple ranch house next to land that Rochelle’s family has owned for over a century. She rules the roost with big ideas, a big heart and, on occasion, a big mouth.

Despite their newfound wealth, the family keeps busy carting the boys to football practice, dealing with cell phone bills, teen sexting and squeezing in a rare date night. But Rochelle excels in extreme parenting; her motto is to get her four sons “out of the house without being fathers or felons.”

Rochelle is joined by her supportive, unruffled husband Trenton and her mother Mary Ann; who may be old fashioned but is every bit as candid as Rochelle and proves the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Sons Jake, 17, star of the high school football team; Luke, 13, the rambunctious prankster; Dade, 9, the creative visionary; and Tate, 8, the mischievous rascal, keep their lives more than interesting. Rochelle’s father Bill is just trying to stay sane and sister Kristan is the family mediator who keeps everyone in check.

“Lone Star Lady” is produced by 12 Forward Entertainment for A&E Network. Executive producers for 12 Forward Entertainment are Melanie Wester, Terry Wester and Adam Matalon. Executive producers for A&E Network are Laurie Sharpe and Sean Gottlieb.
