From now until June 15th, aspiring directors/filmmakers can submit their short films for a chance to be mentored by John and then showcase their work at an exclusive event at the Toronto International Film Festival.
Submitting couldn’t be easier – go to the entry page and see below for a few tips to help you stand out:
Tell us about yourself! Yes, it’s optional. But we’d really love to know what drives you as an individual and as a filmmaker.
Keep it short. By that, we mean make sure your submission is for the short film (10-min. or less run-time) you’d like to screen at TIFF®. Make it shorter. We only need to see a trailer (up to 2 min.) for your short film—edit wisely. No reels please.
Describe your trailer. Just a sentence or two about what you’re submitting and how you made it.
