Interview: ‘Josh Lawson’ Talks His New Movie The Little Death And House Of Lies

Josh Lawson is on of the stars of Showtime’s House Of Lies. He’s also just written The Little Death, which he stars in and directs for the first time. We talked about all of this. You can listen below and see it in theaters and on VOD Friday, June 26.

THE LITTLE DEATH. ‘The Little Death’ is the English translation for French phrase ‘La Petite Mort’ – an idiom and euphemism for orgasm. As the title’s meaning suggests, this film unveils a warm-hearted depiction of the secret sex lives of five suburban couples living in Sydney, and features an ensemble of breakthrough talent. Australian writer-director Josh Lawson’s searing and sometimes shocking screenplay weaves together a story that explores a range of sexual fetishes and the repercussions that come with sharing them.

THE LITTLE DEATH just won the SXSW Audience Award and Magnolia will be releasing this title in theaters and on VOD on Friday, June 26th.
