DVD Review: ‘Bones: The Flesh & Bones Collection Seasons 1-12’ DVD Set

Bones just ended its run a few months ago in March. The show ran 246 episodes over 12 years and now you relive it from the beginning. Fox Home Entertainment has released an awesome DVD set with all 12 seasons. It’s available in stores now. The show is based on the writings of Katy Reichs series of books.

The show centered on FBI special agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) and forensic expert Dr. Temperance ‘Bones’ Brennan (Emily Deschanel) at the Jeffersonian Institute Medico-Legal Lab,. Each week human remains would be brought in and then the case would need to be solved by Booth, Bones and their cast of characters throughout the twelve years. The other real story was the love story between Booth and Brennan with the sexual chemistry and on again/off again of the two characters. All sorts of cases took place over the years including both of them on occasion having their lives threatened. But in the end it was the love between the two of them which guided the show.

It’s an awesome set with special features including:

* Back To The Lab: A Bones Retrospective
* Bones at Comic-Con
* Visual Effects and making of featurettes
* Select audio commentary
* Gag reels
* Deleted scenes

The ultimate set for any fan of the show. Pick up “BONES” – The Flesh & Bones Collection Seasons 1-12 in stores now.
