Gigi Lazzarato is a YouTube star transitioning into bigger and better things. She grew up with her two brothers and her parents. She was a skilled diver who seemed set on going to the Olympics, but everything changed. Gigi was born Gregory and Gregory was a gay guy who enjoyed doing makeup tutorials. Greg was skilled at doing makeup videos on YouTube, but the videos were also a way to accept herself as who she was meant to be and to help others along the way.
Gigi was making money growing her brand on YouTube and everything seemed to be going well. Tragedy struck and it was then that Greg realized he needed to become the woman she was always meant to be. This documentary shows Greg Lazzarato becoming Greg Gorgeous and Greg Gorgeous becoming Gigi Lazzarato/Gigi Gorgeous. This documentary shows how Gigi dealt with bullying, the hurtful comments that were made, the people who were helped by her sharing her story and other aspects of her life.
Gigi shows her transitioning surgeries as well as how her family and friends react to the new her. It’s a feel good documentary. It hits on how people in the LGBTQ community are becoming more open and accepted, but there are still many hurdles that they have to face, like how your family, friends, community and even strangers accept you.
