This is the second book in author David Wong’s Zoey Ashe series. I didn’t read the first one but now I wish I had. David gives enough information so if you haven’t read the first one you will not be lost with this one. And this book was awesome. David has a very sarcastic, funny wit about him and it shows in this novel. I found myself laughing out loud quite a few times. Well worth a read and more novels in the series. And if you want to follow someone cool on Twitter follow David here.

In the futuristic city of Tabula Ra$a Zoey Ashe has inherited her father’s legacy and is now the leader of his powerful criminal organization. But Zoey is a good person and doesn’t want to do bad. She wants things to go good and for her to be liked. When a hostage situation takes place she talks the person down and then days later a corpse is delivered to her house.

Zoey and her team are on it and find out a revolution is on he horizon and Zoey and her team must do everything they can to stop this and keep things peaceful. And when her prized cat goes missing Zoey goes on the offense to try and find and rescue him and to end this uprising once and for all.
