Book Review: ‘With Love From Wish & Co.: A Novel’ By Minnie Darke

Marnie Fairchild has her own business, a boutique store and also as a private shopper, for select clients. She has a knack for picking out the right gift and then the credit goes to her client. She wraps it and has it delievered. She also keeps secrets for her clients. Her rich client Brian Charlesworth needs two gifts, one for his wife for their 40th anniversary and one for his mistress, for her 65th birthday. Marnie has them both ready but there’s a screwup and the wrong gifts go to the wrong woman. Now Marnie must fix the mess she has made. She also starts seeing Brian’s son Luke, who has his own secret and needs Marnie’s help. And Marnie wants to buy the family building up for sale, that her estranged uncle is selling. Marnie has a lot of work to do to keep everything straight and not mess up everything she’s working for. This is a fun novel, part rom-com, with characters you root for. Another book for your late summer beach reading.
