Leila, J.J. and Molly have been friends since they met in college, at Northwestern, and found out they all have September birthdays. When they get to together in Vegas for a birthday, they all go in on a lottery ticket, and win the billion dollar jackpot. They hire a wealth consultant named Shea Daniels, who calls her business Windfall. She invites the girls to her estate, which is also called Windfall, which was once owned by an Oscar nominee, who vanished, and it was a big story at the time. But the weekend goes all wrong, and the girls fear that bad things are going to happen, and that one of them is going to try and steal the ticket for themselves. The roads are blocked, a wildfire is taking place and the ticket and one of the girls vanishes, and it becomes a fight for survival. An intense psychological thriller, that keeps you engaged throughout, with lots of twists.

You can pick up Windfall in stores now from William Morrow.
