Patrick Lake is one of the hottest actors in Hollywood, with a hit superhero movie, and filming a sequel in Birmingham, England right now, and has a secret, he is gay. When he goes to a gay bar, and a drag show, he meets Will, who is dressed in drag, and word gets out he is there with his co-stars, they have to leave in a hurry, and pictures surface online. He is warned to be careful about what he does, there’s a morals clause in his contract. When he goes to the local bookstore, he meets Will, out of drag, and has no idea he was at the club. They strike up a friendship, and then a secret romance, and Will has to sign an NDA. They fall in love, have hot sex and sneak out on dates. It all becomes too much for Patrick, he ends it with Will, returns home and is miserable. He gets the shock of his life at the premiere of the movie, and makes a bold move in his life. This is a good rom-com, with two characters you enjoy reading and following along with. It’s also a good look at the behind-the-scenes of movie making and a perfect beach read.
