Book Review: ‘Walk The Wire’ Is The Next Thrilling Amos Decker Novel

In London, North Dakota a young teacher named Irene Cramer is found murdered. This small town is a hotbed for fracking and has grown big time. Murders are not to common here. And even rarer is the FBI getting involved over one murder. That’s what Agents Amos Decker and Alex Jamison think. They have no idea why they’re here to work this murder but get right to work on it. But not all is as it seems in this small town. There’s a mysterious Air Force base that is operational here for some reason. And it seems everyone has secrets.

As they investigate it leads them with more questions than answers. And more dead bodies. And their lives being in danger and a surprise save from another character of author David Baldacci’s series, who plays a part in this story and his partner. There’s the mysterious Blue Man, who is helping out as well with what’s going on in this small town. One mystery gets solved in regards to the Air Force base but who has been murdering these people is still unsolved and Amos Decker will not leave until the murders are solved, even if it means dying in the process.

David Baldacci’s series are great and this is another well-written thriller in his Memory Man series along with the special guests he has along to help. With twists and turns and mysteries right up until the end, you will not want to put this book down.

You can pick up Walk The Wire in stores on Tuesday, April 21st from Grand Central.
