Konrad is at home when he gets a call that a woman named Valborg, who was terminally ill, has been murdered, and his name was found in where she lives. It turns out the woman wanted to hire him to find the baby son she gave up a long time ag,. which he refused to do. He feels remorse that he didn’t help her and starts looking into her past and searching for the child. As his investigation goes on, he finds similar things between her murder and that of his fathers. With help from his psychic friend and working with his coworker Marta, he may not like what he finds. It all leads to a climactic, shocking finale. This is the third book in the series, and it’s another great one. The character of Konrad is awesome, and the story is a page-turning thriller that will haunt you long after reading it.
