The year is 1898 and Quinn le Blanc is the current Queen Of Fives, a con artist who has a code of five things in five days to accomplish, and to snag a rich person into marriage, and get their money. She decides to target the rich Kendal family and the only son, who is a duke, who has no plans to marry. She has a group of people that help her with the con, meets the Duke, gets close to him, and convinces him to marry, he has his own reason and secret as to why he wants to marry, and it will only be a business deal. She soon learns it and confesses to him her reason to marry as well, and they come to a business deal. What Quinn doesn’t know is that there’s a mysterious person working against her, as are the other members of the Kendal family. By the day of the wedding, shocking things take place, a twist is revealed and lives are in danger and just who outwits who is revealed. This is a twisty, soapy, fun, delicious novel. This is one you will not want to put down.
