After the events of the last book (Total Empire), Garrett Sinclair has been in prison, at Fort Leavenworth, for the last year, when he gets an unexpected pardon, that will take place the following morning. People come after him, he’s in solitary, and gets a note about being in his bed at 8pm. An explosion takes place, and Jake Mahegan, his former cohort on the Dagger team, has broken him out. The rest of the Dagger team is out as well, seems a billionaire tech guy has hired the team to take out his business rival, who is trying to make a security state. A coding team is put together to try and break into their system, and find a kill list on people close to Sinclair, and now Garrett must try and save these people, and shut down The Phalanx Code. Another thrilling novel for author Tate, who never writes anything bad. This is the third novel in the series, and it’s as good as the first two. Fans will be happy with this one.
