The year is 1970, and Noah Ainsworth lost his wife a year ago, and hasn’t really recovered from it. He decides to confess some of secret past to his daughter Charlotte. During WWII he worked as a secret agent from Britain, and had a bad accident, that caused him to forget certain things. He wants to find the man that saved his life back then, and Charlotte decides to help him. Via flashbacks, we meet two women, Fleur and Josey, who were female spies, and had a big impact on Noah’s live. As they dig, they learn a lot more than they intended, and sometimes it’s best to leave the past buried. This is another great Kelly Rimmer novel, no one writes them better than her. It’s filled with well-written characters, interesting stories, and shocking twists and turns. You will not want to put this one down. A perfect summer beach read.

You can pick up The Paris Agent in stores on Tuesday, July 11th from Graydon House.
