If you’re looking for a book with a holy sh*t ending, you have found it. This novel takes you on a twisty ride, never lets up and drops that ending you will never see coming. The book opens with writer David Asha talking about his son Elliot and the time they had together, until it was over. In present day we follow former cop Harriet Kealty and her involvement with Elliot and his current guardian Ben, who is her ex, a year ago they went on three dates and then he dumped her for no reason. Harriet goes on a crusade and researches Ben, Elliott and his family, finds shocking things about him and starts an investigation. And we follow it along, as well as a court case, letters from David and what truly happened to this family and trust me you don’t want me to write anymore. This is one of the best books of the year and has that shocking twist I have been waiting for all year long. It’s not ofter a book blows my mind like this…bravo Adam Hamdy!
