West Harbor, CT, is known for its witch tourism, and maybe having actual witches. Francesca, Frankie to everyone, doesn’t believe it. She’s a therapist and has been divorced for a year. She lives a quiet life, and is often gardening, and trying to get the stray cat out from under her house. Ash owns the house next door, but rents it out most of the time. Frankie has never talked to him, but knows he is hot. He has a unique talent; lost things find him. When a bunch of young girls go missing, Ash is hired to find one of them, and moves back to his house, and even gets the cat out from under the house. They soon fall for each other, have hot sex, and we learn shocking secrets about Ash. We soon learn where and what the missing girls are doing, and it’s a plot to change the world, involving ancient Greek Gods, and Ash finds his life in danger, and Frankie is on a mission to save him. This is another great novel from author Meg Cabot. Part rom-com, part supernatural mystery, and all heart. Ash and Frankie have great chemistry, and it oozes off the pages. A good summer beach read.
