A fun rom-com to finish the year off with. Great characters, smartly written and fun to follow along with. Fans of this genre will like this new novel. Kenya Davenport makes it to the finals of a cosplay reality show and has to pick a partner to help her, as the finals is a couple’s cosplay. So live on the show she picks her best friend, roommate and business partner Cam and alludes that they’re in a couples relationship (which they’re not). Cam is shocked as he watches the show but agrees to go along with it. It means constantly being watched and filmed. WHat Kenya and Cam don’t know is each one has strong feelings for the other. The charade is going along fine until they decide to take it to the next level and they admit feelings for each other. But the show, Cam’s ex and Kenya’s parents start to put doubt into Kenya and then the show finale takes place and it impacts the relationship of Kenya and Cam. Can these two work out their issues and be together?

You can pick up The Love Con in stores on Tuesday, December 14th from Berkley.
