Adalyn Reyes works for her father, who owns the Miami Flames, a professional soccer team. On this day she looses it with the team mascot, and punches him, for all the press to see and record, and soon it goes viral. Her father sends her to a small North Carolina town to work with a local team, a team of nine-year-olds, and she’s not told about this. When she arrives, she runs into Cam Caldani, with her car, who was a huge soccer star for the LA team. He is the coach of the team, and they start off on a bad note. Lots of arguing, and general dislike, and then before you know it, they’re having hot sex. With the girls team doing well, the two of them becoming a couple, things seem to be finally turning around for the two of them, until a misunderstanding could tear them apart. A solid, well-written rom-com, that hits all the right notes, including some hot sex scenes, and two characters you root for to be together. Fans of this genre will be happy with this one.

You can pick up The Long Game in stores oN Tuesday, September 5th from Atria.
