Two women and two teenagers become a family and with that comes secrets. Secrets that could destroy them all. Cassie Costas has lost her husband Mark in a boating accident. She leaves New York with her step-daughter Savannah and relocates to Florida near her family. She soon discovers her husband has lost all their money. Her relationship with Savannah is hit or miss at the moment.

For Amber Blair and her son Will things are tough. She’s behind on the rent and about to be evicted. She’s made the money to hold up on the eviction but loses it in a parking lot. Savannah and her friends find it and have a wild party. Later Cassie learns what she did and invites Amber and Will to move in with them. The slowly become friends and Cassie starts investigating Mark’s last days and learns shocking secrets. Amber also has a hidden secret involving Will’s father and needs to keep a secret. When Will learns about his family via a DNA test, it leads to a deadly situation. How these 4 deal with the fallout of the secrets will have a big bearing as they try to move forward with their lives.

A solid story of friendship, grief and secrets that starts off on a strong note and never lets up as the story moves along. You feel for all these characters and can’t wait for the reveals of these two women’s secrets.
