Del is a stand-up comedian and has just gotten into a big festival, which could break her career. Then she finds her boyfriend in bed with her roommate and now has to move back home to the Jersey Shore and her Grandmother’s apartment, something she vowed never to do. Then she runs into Eddie, a man from high school, whom she had a love/hate relationship with. They decide now that they’re adults to get along, spending time with each other, and fall for each other. Del still has her comedy event to attend and is not sure she and Eddie can make it as a couple, she doesn’t want to go backward staying at the Jersey Shore. A solid debut rom-com, with two characters you root for. A good Memorial Day beach read.
