Book Review: ‘Run For Cover’ Is A Thrilling Second Michael Gannon Novel By Michael Ledwidge

The second Michael Gannon novel from author Michael Ledwidge is as good as his debut novel with the character. A thrilling ride from beginning to end and shows why the character of Michael Gannon will be a force in books for years to come. If you’re a fan of characters like The Gray Man, Jason Bourne and Jack Ryan, you’ll love this series.

Michael Gannon is on the downlow in Utah on the lands of his close friend John Barber after the events of the first book, his finding a lot of money and having to deal with the FBI. When word comes to Michael that John’s brother Owen was murdered, it sets off a chain of events. Michael meets FBI agent Kit who’s working the case. She was with Owen when he was killed and he actually saved her life. When Kit is pulled from the case, she has a feeling somethings up with it. She teams up with Michael and they go on the hunt for clues as to what’s going on. It soon leads to a shocking discovery of betrayal within the FBI. It leads to a climatic chase and shoot-out, and shows why Michael Gannon and John Barber are not to be messed with.
