All roads lead to a small town in Mississippi, which houses a prison called Minerva. Jack Reacher is just chilling in a small town in Colorado, having picked up a waitress, got laid and ready to move on. Then he sees Angela St. Vrain pushed in front of a train and killed. He follows the man that did it and finds a mysterious envelope, that leads to Minerva. Then he learns that Sam has died, he says he was murdered, and teams up with his ex-wife and they head cross country to Minerva. But the people there don’t want him showing up and send men to stop him (like that will work). Jed is 15 years-old and with a foster family. He learns that his bio-daddy is getting out of prison (he’s never met him) and takes off for Minerva to meet him. We follow him along the way (and all the problems he has getting there) and ends up running into Jack. And a man has lost his son and sets off to find the people responsible and it also leads to Minerva. They all arrive at the same time and it leads to a climatic showdown and once again proves why Jack Reacher is the man. This is another great novel in the series. It has everything you want in a Reacher book….Jack taking names and kicking ass..not much more has to be said. Also if you haven’t watched the first season of Reacher on Prime Video, you should, it’s really good. And season two just started filming, so something to look forward to in 2023.
