When a real murder happens at the murder mystery book club that Hazel Rose and Carlene have started, Hazel decides she is going to find the killer. When Carlene suddenly dies after drinking cyanide-spiked tea at the latest meeting, at first it is thought to be suicide. After an investigation it turns out to be murder.
Hazel decides to use all the knowledge she can to investigate everyone that may be involved in the murder (and it’s quite the list to investigate.) She learns secrets along the way and when she gets to the truth has to fight for her very life.
Maggie King has written a fun book with enjoyable characters and good mystery to follow along with. Available in stores on December 30.
