Amanda White is still grieving for the murder of her six-year-old daughter, allegedly at the hands of Wallace Crone, and the death of her husband six days later. The police were never able to charge the well-off Crone. Amanda has been following him, and plans to take him out, but those plans are interrupted, and now she has to attend grief support. There she meets Wendy, who has lost her daughter, whom she claims was raped by her teacher, and was responsible for her death, with no proof. They get to drinking and talking, and decide to kill the men, Amanda will take out the man Wendy wants dead, and Wendy will kill Crone. In another story, Ruth is attacked and left for dead in her home, by a man she claims had blue eyes, and this is not the first time this man has attacked women. Their cases ended up overlapping because the same detective has worked on both. And that’s all I am going to say about the plot, anything else would be spoilers. There’s major twists you don’t see coming, that will answer all questions about the three women. This is a great psychological thriller, with each chapter told by one of the characters. Your jaw will drop when you get to the shocking revealations. This one you won’t want to put down, and it will be one of the best thrillers of the year.
