Sophie Steinbeck is getting married today, but knows she doesn’t want to. She hasn’t called it off because husband to be;s father is her boss. Then Max Parks arrives and objects to the wedding, he has proof that Sophie has been cheated on, and the wedding is off. When people don’t know is that Max is a professional wedding interrupter, he gets paid to do this. Max has been burned in love as well, and soon Sophie asks him to take her under his wing. They go from wedding to wedding, and spend a lot of time together, and an attraction is forming. They decide to be just friends, but we know how that goes, and they have feelings for each other. When Max’s ex is getting married, she is called to object, but Max does not want her to, and it causes problems between the two, and know they have to figure out where to go from here. This is a really fun rom-com, with an original take on them being wedding crashers in a sense. The chapters are from each’s perspective, the dialogue snappy and fun, and a fun supporting cast, including some cats. Fans of rom-coms will love this one.
