Book Review: ‘Everybody Knows: A Novel’ By Jordan Harper

Mae Pruett has one of the toughest jobs in Hollywood, she works in PR, at a powerful firm, that has anyone you need on hand, and has to keep her famous clients out of trouble. She’s on call 24 hours a day, and it always seems like there’s a crisis. After her boss is gunned down outside a Beverly Hills hotel, where she was supposed to meet him, she takes it upon herself to figure out what happened to him. He had some secret plan that he wanted to include her in. She starts to investigate things, and she may not like what she finds, and it could put her life in danger. This is a great novel to start the year off with. An inner working of the Hollywood PR system, with a great character in Mae. The book starts off strong and never lets up.

You can pick up Everybody Knows in stores on Tuesday, January 10th.
