Book Review: ‘Dance With Death: A Barker & Llewelyn Novel’ By Will Thomas

The year is 1883 and a big wedding is about to take place in London with Prince George and Princess Mary. Anyone that is anyone has been invited including Nicholas, the son and soon to be leader of Russia. But someone is after him and it lands at the hands of Barker & Llewelyn. Bodyguard Jim Hercules shows up at their office and asks for their help in protecting him. And then they are caught in an attempt on his life. It could be any number of people but they figure it’s an assassin named La Sylphide. As they try to help secure Nicholas many other forces get in the way and it’s a race to make sure he stays safe. Attempts are made on both of Barker & Llewelyn life’s and they’re not going down without a fight.

Another solid novel in the series with great historical figures, solid action and the great characters of Barker & Llewelyn, who never disappoint.

You can pick up Dance With Death in stores on Tuesday, April 13th from Minotaur Books.
