Set in 1934 as Hitler is getting more power, Elena Standish is assigned to go back to Berlin, where she barely escaped from on her last mission, to rescue a biochemist. M16 head Peter Howard thinks she is perfect for the job. She has changed her look and she is okay with doing the job. She arrives in Berlin, meets her undercover bellhop at the hotel where she is staying and makes plans to get the biochemist out, with helf from Jacob, who was in the last novel. This story also brings Elena’s Grandfather Lucas back to Germany, to confront an old foe and he is either going to kill the man or be killed. Germany is in a state of upheavel and Elena must do whatever she can to try and get this man out, even if it means she dies in the process. This is the fourth novel in the series and they keep getting better. This is another thrilling story with all the characters we’ve come to love and we can’t leave out Toby the dog. Fans of the series will be happy with this one.
