The debut novel from author Ethan Joella is a heart-warming, well-written character driven story, that has you intently following along with these characters and rooting for them. For the residents of a small Connecticut town of Wharton, lives will never be the same. Each character is going through something and we follow along in real time as each has to adjust to what’s happening. For Greg a cancer diagnosis at age 40 has uprooted his life with his wife and little girl. His boss is supportive and dealing with the daughter he had outside of his marriage and he’s about to be a grandfather. For Darcy she has to deal with the sudden loss of her son and the upcoming wedding of her daughter. All these characters overlap and you can’t help but feel for them.
You can pick up A Little Hope in stores on Tuesday, November 16th from Scribner.
