Jo Sharpe returns home to her small town of Arthurville to take a job at the small local paper. It means moving in with her estranged father, who drinks a lot and is sick. He’s never gotten over his wife and Jo’s mother leaving many years ago with her young daughter. She has never been seen or heard from in years, since a few postcards came. Jo has never gotten over it either and starts searching through things of her mother and things don’t add up. Then a shocking discovery is made and Jo tries to figure out what really happened all those years ago and as they say the past never stays buried and secrets are revealed. What really happened back then? A solid story with well-written characters and a few twists to make it interesting and to keep the reader engaged in the mystery.

You can pick up A Little Bird in stores on Tuesday, November 20th.
