Blu-ray Review: ‘The Flintstones & WWE: Stone Age Smackdown’

If you’re a fan of The Flinstones and WWE then have I got a movie for you ‘The Flintstones & WWE: Stone Age Smackdown.’ It features some of the biggest names in WWE including John Cena, The Undertaker, Vince McMahon, the Bella Twins, Mark Henry and Daniel Bryan.

Fred in his quest to make more money decides today is the day he’s going to ask for a raise. While Mr. Slate is showing his new employee John Cenastone around, Fred screws up at work and loses his chance to take his family on vacation. He comes up with a plan to save the trip which includes Barney getting into the ring. He’s going to put together a sports entertainment event and raise the money.

Fred enlists John to get his friends Rey Mysteriopal and The Undertaker to help out and becomes the promoter of the event. Fred makes enough money for him and Barney to take their families on vacation. But the allure of the ring and making lots of money is too much. Fred decides to do more shows and in typical Fred Flinstone fashion things back fired on him. Will he be able to fix things before it’s too late?

This is a fun story involving two iconic brands The Flintstones and WWE. The animation is ten times better than the old series (as it should be). You can own it on Blu-ray Combo, DVD & Digital HD March 10.
