Blu-ray Review: ‘Resident Evil: The Final Chapter’ Is A Good Close To The Series

I never played any of the video games this movie series is based on. But I have watched all the movies and have enjoyed them. The sixth and final movie in the series finally ends the battle between Alice and the Umbrella Corp once and for all. It’s a satisfying ending to a fun movie series.

Alice (Milla Jovovich) is forced to return to The Hive and a final showdown. She learns that a new deadly virus is going to be release. She’s also being aided by The Red Queen believe it or not. She has given Alice vital information and said she will explain more once there. Alice fights her way to Raccoon City where she finds help from survivors who want to help her.

Once Alice is inside she gets more information from The Red Queen and then it’s game on. Not only inside but outside. It’s a battle against time to stop the final deadly virus from being released. We also learn who Alice is and her back story.

A non-stop, action, shoot em up, kick ass ending that answers all the burning questions we have wondered over the years. It also left open the possibility of more movies (even though this is labeled the final chapter).
