Ume Boll is back as director of the third tale in his ‘In The Name Of The King’ franchise. It’s the third movie in the fantasy, video game series.

It stars Dominic Purcell, who’s fast becoming the king of straight to home video movies, as Hazan Kaine, an American hitman in Bulgaria, trying to end his contract. He’s given a final job of kidnapping a European royal family. In the process of doing that, he takes an amulet that one of his hostages has and it transports him back in time to medeval Bulgaria. He’s met by two warrior woman who take him to their shaman, who sees a tattoo on his arm and is able to read his thoughts. He tells him he is here because he’s linked to this time and has a mission to accomplish before he can go home.

Dominic Purcell makes for a good action hero here. The movie is enjoyable for what it is. There’s a lot worst stuff out there.

You can pick it up in stores now.
