It’s 1943 and the war is still going on. ‘Memphis Belle’ tells the story of ten young, brave Americans, who have only one mission left (after surviving 24 previous ones) before they can go home. The movie follows them through a dance the night before and then the next morning as they get ready for the final mission to Bremen, Germany. The crew takes off and is caught in a fierce battle, of which some of them may not survive to make it home.
A very well written script, great acting from a group of young Hollywood stars (some of which hadn’t reached the stardom they have today). The action shots are incredible and show what it was like to have been a part of the war in 1943. You can pick it up in stores now.
