Blu-ray Review: ‘Batman vs. Two-Face’

Batman vs. Two-Face, in stores Tuesday, October 17th, features Adam West for the last time voicing Batman. Also back are Burt Ward as Robin and Julie Newmar as Catwoman. William Shatner voice the role of Harvey Dent/Two-Face.

When an evil extracted is created Batman, Robin and Harvey are there to see it in action. Riddler, Penguin, Joker and Egghead are part of the experiment. When the experiment goes haywire Harvey Dent is hit with acid from the evil taken from the criminals and becomes Two-Face. With his face repaired things seem back to normal for Harvey.

Six months different criminals including King Tut and Bookworm show up and the Caped Crusaders are called in to capture them. Batman fears someone is behind things that are going on and track down Two-Face, who uses a coin to decide how things will go down. They fear someone is a copy-cat Two Face and confront Harvey Dent, who swears he’s innocent. Soon Batman and Robin are at odds about Harvey and Robin goes on his own and is turned half evil. It’s up to Batman to save Robin and figure out what is going on with Harvey/Two-Face.

If you’re a fan of the 60’s series this will be right up your alley. It has the quick wits, one-liners and Slams, Bams and Wams. And it being the final movie with Adam West and most likely Burt Ward and Julie Newmar, you may want to get it for that reason alone!
