‘Bad Asses On The Bayou’ Release Date And New Images

Samuel Goldwyn Films proudly announced today a day and date release of March 6, 2015 of writer/director Craig Moss’ third installment in the successful Bad Ass action-comedy franchise BAD ASSES ON THE BAYOU.

BAD ASSES ON THE BAYOU reunites the dynamic duo, Frank Vega (Danny Trejo) and Bernie Pope (Danny Glover), as they travel to Louisiana to attend the wedding of their dear friend Carmen Gutierrez (Loni Love). What was pictured as a wedding weekend escape to the south turns violently ugly as madness and mayhem ensue, pressing our senior heroes to once again serve justice.

Joining the BAD ASSES ON THE BAYOU ensemble is veteran actor John Amos (Die Hard 2, Madea’s Witness Protection, Good Times, Roots) as Earl Morgan, father of bride-to-be and Carol Sutton (The Help, 21 Jump Street) as her mother, Lois Morgan. Jimmy Bennett (Orphan, Hostage), Sammi Rotibi (Django Unchained, Tears of the Sun) and Davi Jay (Puncture, The Walking Dead, Treme) also co-star.

BAD ASSES ON THE BAYOU is produced by Ash R. Shah, Ben Feingold and Jim Busfield, reuniting the successful team that brought us the first two cult-hit installments.

According to Meyer Gottlieb, President of Samuel Goldwyn Films: “We are excited to bring this very funny, high-speed film to audiences around the country. The film’s third installment again reunites remarkable actors with great on-screen chemistry and really delivers the laughs and action.”

Filmmaker Craig Moss added: “Not only do the Danny’s have incredible chemistry but they’re hilarious and we look forward to sharing the film with audiences worldwide. I am sure our fans will find the film as exciting as our first two and I am especially excited that BAD ASSES ON THE BAYOU will debut simultaneously in theatres as well as video-on-demand.”

The deal was negotiated by Ian Puente, Vice President and General Counsel of Samuel Goldwyn Films and by Ben Feingold on behalf of the filmmakers.
