TV One’s original film Will To Love, starring Marcus Houston, Keshia Knight-Pulliam, and Draya Michele, is a romantic-comedy about a young millionaire (Jamaal) on a search to find true love so that he can inherit his grandfather’s estate. Marques Houston, whose been in the entertainment industry for well over 20 years, plays the lead role and also wrote and produced the film. Another veteran to the industry, Keshia Knight-Pulliam, plays one of his love interests. This isn’t the first time these two have been paired together and probably won’t be the last because these two have excellent chemistry together. They also co-starred along side each other in UP TV’s original film, The Love Letter. Surprisingly, in her acting debut, reality star Draya Michele doesn’t do as bad as most may expect. She’s certainly not a natural but she managed to pull off and nail her role.
While Will To Love may be dubbed as your typical made-for-tv romantic comedy, it’s still warm and very entertaining. The story line also boasts a very powerful message about marriage and learning to value the things that matter most.
