DVD Review: ‘Scooby-Doo! And The Gourmet Ghost’

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment provided me with a free copy of the DVD I reviewed in this post. The opinions I share are my own.

Scooby Doo (Frank Welker) and the gang are back and this time they are involved in a mystery at Fred’s (Franke Welker) Uncle Bobby’s Rocky Harbor Culinary Resort (including a school and hotel). Uncle Bobby is Bobby Flay and voiced by him. Scooby and Shaggy (Matthew Lillard) are very happy about this as it means lots of food for them. There’s also a rumor about the Red Ghost that has something to do with one of Bobby’s ancestors who was also a chef.

When things start to get crazy and the red ghost makes appearances the gang teams up with Bobby and one of the culinary women and a chef Glada De Laurentiis (who also voices the character). The more they dig the more danger they are in until Velma (Kate Micucci) figures it all out and exposes the Red Ghost.

Another fun Scooby Doo! movie with a fun celebrity as one of the stars. There’s also a fun cat that is good at making sandwiches, which makes Scooby And Shaggy happy. The DVD also contains 3 bonus cartoons.

As long as they keep making Scooby Doo movies I will be watching! You can pick it up in stores on Tuesday, September 11th from Warner Home Video.
