DVD Review: ‘Jetsons & WWE: Robo-Wrestlemania’ Is Really Enjoyable

WWE is back with their latest animated movie with Warner Animation. Previously working with the Flintstones and Scooby Doo, the latest features The Jetsons. Jetsons & WWE: Robo-Wrestlemania is available on Tuesday, March 14. The movie features the voices of WWE stars Vince McMahon, Alicia Fox, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, The Big Show, The Usos and Sheamus.

In present day Sheamus is the WWE champion and Big Show is challenging him for the title. Flying to the arena during a bad snowstorm his plane goes down and hes frozen in the ground. 100 years later in Orbit City George Jetson is given an assignment and finds Big Show and thawed him out. Big Show is confused and then amused by what the future looks like. He is determined to get his belt and goes to a WWE event. He’s shocked to find out that it’s now robot wrestling using the WWE characters. He soon takes the title belt and then goes crazy and takes over Orbit City and orders everyone captured and put to work.

The Jetsons escape and with the help of Elroy’s time machine go back to the past and are shocked at what the past was like) and find present day WWE and tells them what has been happening. They all agree to go to the future and fight Big Show and save Orbit City. It turns into one big Smack-down to take down Big Show once and for all.

The movie was way better than I expected it to be. Might be the best one of all the animated movies so far. The breakout star of the movie is Rosey the maid, who gets the best lines of anyone! Another bonus is on the extras they include original episodes of The Jetsons series.
